Title: AI Researches on DFKI and its application to Smart Factory

Abstract: German research center for Artificial intelligent (DFKI) is developing the platform, application and autonomous system and augmented reality. SmartFactoryKL initiated by DFKI carried out the researches of whole life cycle for applying AI into production system. This presentation includes the core researcher of AI and its application to smart factory. 1) Data collection is improved via digital twins represented by standardized data. 2) Multi-sensor and multi-station data processing is carried out in edge and cloud services. 3) Augmented reality have been applied to manual workers of assembly station and maintenance tasks. Those methods are implemented by several EU funded projects and industrial project with 49 consortium partners of SmartFactoryKL..
