Gyeongho Kim delivered a presentation on his thesis entitled “Data-Driven Prognostics of Machining Tools: Under Various Machining Conditions: Applications in Milling Processes” last Tuesday, June 10th. ๐๐ง His thesis addresses machining-specific problems in data-driven prognostics of cutting tools, which particularly arise under different manifestations of various machining conditions in milling processes. His thesis is examined by the Ph.D. committee, Dr. Sunghoon Lim, Dr. Sungil Kim, Dr. Chiehyeon Lim, Dr. Namhun Kim, and Dr. Jihoon Chung. ๐จโ๐ซ๐ฉโ๐ซ
Gyeongho Kim received a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering at UNIST in 2021 and has been with the Department of Industrial Engineering as a Ph.D. candidate since then. ๐๏ธ๐ He will continue his research as a postdoctoral researcher at Korea University from August. ๐ฌ๐ Looking forward to your bright future as an alumnus of UNIST IE. ๐๐
